Pallet Flow Manager

Lifetime Software Ltd worked very closely alongside Procter & Gamble to
develop a custom pallet routing system for their new Southern Service Center
(SSC) based at their London Plant.
Pallet Flow Manager (PFM) helps control their day-to-day dispatch dock
operations; controlling the release of orders, managing dispatch lanes and
controlling the routing of pallets from various sources to the appropriate
lanes.

PFM was designed to be very flexible, ensuring optimal performance under a
variety of different operating conditions and dispatch modes.
This system has provided P&G with a key system that integrates seamlessly
with P&G’s other warehousing systems, enabling them to maximize the
throughput of their dispatch operations.

The system also collects key statistics data, enabling managers
to streamline their operation and pinpoint any bottlenecks.
PFM was designed for, and successfully delivers, a reliable 24 hour, 7 Day
operation

|
Lifetime Software also provided a clear and concise User Interface for PFM.
This User Interface fully utilizes the use of colour and graphics to accurately
and clearly relay information to control room operators and dock operations
staff.
With the addition of the latest web development technology, Lifetime Software
has also extended the PFM user interface to allow quick and easy access to
screens via Web pages.
